Terms & Conditions

  1. This limited term promotional offer is made available to you on the website daraz.com.np and the corresponding mobile site and mobile application (collectively, "Daraz") by Daraz Kaymu Private Limited ("DKPL") and provided by Visa Worldwide Pte Limited ("Visa").
  2. This Offer is open to all customers holding a valid and current Visa Credit, Debit or Prepaid Card (each a "Visa Card") issued in Nepal and yet to be saved on Daraz ("Eligible Daraz Users").
  3. The Offer terms and conditions ("T&Cs") are in addition to the Daraz Conditions of Use & Sale and Privacy Notice to which Eligible Daraz Users agree to by using Daraz.
  4. This Offer is valid from 13 April 2021 to 13 May 2021 ("Offer Period") both days included, unless extended or revoked without notice and without liability by Visa or Daraz, in their sole discretion.
  5. To be eligible to avail this Offer, an Eligible Daraz User is required to save the Visa Card in their Daraz account for the first time prior to undertaking the Eligible Transaction (defined below).
  6. Under this Offer, subject to these T&Cs, any Eligible Daraz User who makes a purchase on Daraz using a Visa Card will receive a discount of 15% on the purchase value up to a maximum of NPR 500.
  7. For the avoidance of doubt:

    (a) ”Eligible Transaction” means first transactions in Daraz made using valid and current Visa credit, debit and prepaid cards issued in Nepal and newly saved on file with Daraz. Thus, complete payment for the Eligible Transaction(s) must be made using the Visa Card, i.e. Eligible Transaction with multiple payment modes will not be eligible for this Offer, whether or not any of such payment method is a Visa Card;
    (b) an existing registered card-on-file customer with Daraz will not be eligible for this Offer;
    (c) User ID that has already made transaction at Daraz will not be eligible for this Offer;

  8. This Offer cannot be combined with any other offer being concurrently run on Daraz or available in relation to the Visa Card.
  9. The Offer is not valid for customers paying using cash on delivery, mobile wallets, or Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners or any other credit / debit cards/prepaid cards other than Visa Cards.
  10. In case the Eligible Daraz User cancels the Eligible Transaction or an Eligible Transaction is cancelled for any reason whatsoever, such Eligible Transaction will not qualify for the Offer.
  11. Under no circumstances will the discount under this Offer be settled in cash in lieu thereof by Visa or Daraz.
  12. By availing this Offer, every customer expressly agrees that neither Visa nor Daraz (or any of their affiliates) will be liable or responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever that a customer may suffer, directly or indirectly, in connection with this Offer.
  13. Any disputes arising out of this Offer will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore.
  14. Cardholders are not bound in any manner to participate in the Offer. Any such participation is voluntary.
  15. Visa and/or DKPL reserve the right to extend or withdraw the Offer, or modify or change any of the T&Cs at any time without prior notice and without any liability.
  16. Nothing herein amounts to a commitment by Visa or DKPL to conduct further, similar or other offers.
  17. The above Offer is by way of a special offer and nothing contained herein shall prejudice or affect the terms and conditions of the Visa card member agreement between a Cardholder and the issuing bank.
  18. Any query or issue in relation to this Offer will be entertained only for a period of 30 days from the date the Eligible Daraz User completes the Eligible Transaction and can be directed to Daraz Customer Support. Post such period, no communication will be entertained regarding this Offer or Benefit.
